Question about AMD Computers & Internet
The hard drive could be ready to crash. But look at the easy checks first. Get a program called cclean. Free download and free program. Run the analyisis and then the clean. This might take care of most of the problem files. Run the register clean , this might fix the rest.

Internet Conn?...did you check the plug from your modem to built LAN card in your PC?...if its done...did you install the LAN driver to your PC...(LAN driver is in the MOTHERBOARD DRIVER)...if you do that also, why dont you check the double monitor, its located in the lower right side, beside the digital clock..right click, and go to open network connections...You will see a dialog box, and right click the Lan Area Connections, and double click, see the dialog box again?..you will see the two title bar, in the upper left side..there's a General and Support..you also see the blue title, one is Connectivity and other one is Activity..check your status in your connection, is it connected or not?..if not..go to the SUPPORT,(upper left side)..you will see a connections status , click repair it..
then after that..
restart your computer...

You should be able to manage your account, including payments, from here :
Just click on manage account, then continue from there - you may need some of your account information in order to get your online management account set up.

The optimal thing to do is remove the software program and re install it. Just as a word of warning if you don't know what services should be starting up with windows you should not disable any. Its fine to disable programs from the start up options, but as a rule of thumb stay away from the services.
Chances are this is a software program problem not computer.
If it still does not work, please post your question more thoroughly. Good Luck.

No matter what you do, you need to partiton and format the drive and install an OS, be it with the Acer recovery disks or with an original XP install disk. You will need to boot from your CD drive to install the OS, if your drive is not bootable you will need to boot from a floppy and load drivers for the CD drive. For information on how to get these boot floppies check out this Microsoft link:
