Please unplug the mouse and replug it again. Let me know if the mouse is Ball Type. If it is Optical then, find out setting of Mouse in Control Panel and adjust them and test.

For Ball Type, remove the ball and clean all dust coming on it. also adjust the setting in control panel.

My Genius Easypen i405X tablet keeps clicking when I hover with pen

Hello :) we have the same problem regarding the same brand and product. But I got mine working just a while ago.
Try this: Control Panel>Pen and Touch
under pen options, there should be settings regarding the pen buttons. Unclick the "use the pen button as a right-click equivalent"
hope this helps though although it's been a year XD

My mouse is going haywire when i move it without clicking or pressing hard and the select box happens or when i move the mouse online everything moves around it took me a while to get here

first thing to try is check the mouse connections. If you are using a usb mouse try plugging it into another usb connection. If you are using a 9-pin old school mouse with the green end and pins then you might want to check to see if a pin is bent or broken, if it is you will need to replace it.

hope this helps.

Hi, the cursor is stucked in left upper corner and almost doesn't move when I move the pen. The tablet area is set to FULL.

I had the same problem try reinstalling the driver and putting the driver on your desktop to save it since sometimes it screws up at weird times and its handy to have on there. Do not go to re collaberate tablet settings or try to put specific settings in for your computer it will make that happen. I had someone try to give me a fix and retry to reset the tablet itself but it made it worse and caused that. Mouse mode is disabled and only pen mode works for that. So try reinstalling it and not changing the specific settings for your computer its in another menue screen the main settings are fine to play with but don't do the tec stuff it screws up when you recollaberate the tablet to your computer or monitor settings.

Hi, I have had my tablet for over a year now and its been working great but today i plugged it in and it seems as though the pen is stuck on the "select" mode. do i need a new pen or is there a quick fix?

Hey! I found your post searching for solutions to the same problem. My pen was stuck in select mode since i shipped it to NZ with me, held snug in what i thought was a perfectly fitting box. So...an impact or prolonged pressing of the nib can cause this problem then! Anyway, found this page with perfect instructions on how to take apart the pen (my pen is a little different (newer?) but comes apart just the same) http://abiamy.com/abiyasablogs/2008/04/06/fixing-a-broken-wacom-pen/comment-page-1/#comments I took the pen apart and messed about with it (gently) for a while. After many unsuccessful messes, it finally started working again.
I think you just need to let the pressure sensor (at the inward end of the nib) pop back out again. You can probably do this by just pulling the nib out. Wacom say you can do that with pliers without taking the rest of the pen apart. I'm afraid i cannot say what i specifically did to get the pen to work, maybe it just needs time without anything in the way.
I'm sorry this was a lot of babble without a definite answer, but have a go.
Good luck! Adam

My Wacom Intuos3 tablet won't switch into pen mode

The winning answer came courtesy of Mr Benedikt Schmitt of Wacom Europe, who offered the following solution: from the Windows Device Manager, disable the “Wacom Virtual Hid Driver” device. (Go to Control Panel > System and Maintenance > Device Manager, find the driver, right-click it and choose “Disable”.) One reboot later (welcome to Windows-land, circa 2008?), everything works as desired. Pressure and tilt sensitivity inside Photoshop still work, and the pen functions just fine in the rest of the Windows desktop. The absolute mapping makes it an absolute pleasure to point quickly and precisely. It makes my laser mouse feel rather clumsy navigating a large 24′ screen!

The mouse on my Wacom Intuos tablet is not working.

I know this question was asked a long time ago, but I just had this similar problem and found a solution to it.

1. Install the latest Wacom drivers for your device
2. Open the Wacom Tablet Properties from the Start menu.
3. Click on the Mouse tool
4. Click on the Mapping tab halfway down the screen
5. Change the mode from Mouse to Pen

My Wacom Intuos3 tablet won't switch into pen mode

I had the same problem with my Intuos3 on Vista. Tech support suggested the following.

Do this.....Go to Start--->control panel---->system(in classic view)---->device manager--->click on "human interface devices"--->then click on "Wacom virtual HID driver" and right click on that and disable it. Your computer will ask you to restart and you will want to do that.

Everything works fine now.
