Accidentaly deleted my web cam software and i dont know how to get it back, please help

i have an acer aspire 5100 and its a built in web cam. it was setup when i bought the laptop. i guess theres not much you can do for me?!?!?!

use the CD that came with the cam again and reinstall OR go to your webcam manufacturers website, look for the SUPPORT link, there you should find the drivers for your model of web cam

1st you should be abale to have the web cam come on without being on skype, so you need to find the software that came with the web cam , if you dont have the software you can download it at www.logitech.com /support and type in make and model ...web cam and download the software it needs ...............if you have done this already , you can try deleteing skype software and then reinstall it ...............Im here to help , so please let me know if this does'nt work for you .......Goodluck ............................Roy

Hey hi,

firstly u need 2 uninstall the current web cam driver software from your system then

Start --> Run --> %temp% --> Delete all files.

Start --> Run --> prefetch --> Delete all files.

Restart ur system and visit the link below and install the latest driver software for the web cam
