Re: Can u help?
1. TV on. 2. On your Dish Network remote PRESS AND HOLD the small clear tv button until all buttons across the top of the remote light up and release. The only button lit should be the clear tv button that will be flashing. 3. Press the small red tv button next to the power button and release it. This should leave the clear tv button that was flashing lit solid. 4. Now slowly depress the channel up key until the tv turns off. Each time the up channel button is depressed the clear tv button will cease being lit and once it is released the clear tv button should remain solid. If the clear tv button flashes multiple times it usually means there is no known code for your tv, there may be another code that will work so continue on. 5. Once you are successful in getting the TV turned off press the channel down button once and then the channel up button. This should turn the TV back on. 6.Press the # key button on the remote. The clear tv button should flash three times then press the record button and try the volume up/down and the small red tv button. You should be able to turn volume up and down and turn tv on /off. If only one of these function it means that you have only found a half code and need to try the process again. Not all TV's have full codes or any codes at all especially combo units. This is the easier of the two methods as it sometimes will find codes that will work but are not listed. If you prefer to try the method of entering in the code numbers for your TV I gladly get them for you however I will need to know the brand of tv and if it is a combo DVD or VHS model, your receiver type, and the remote type which can be found on the back of thew remote. I hope this assists you and thank you for using Fix Ya. Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

The directions tell you to find the proper code to set up the remote. You have several Codes to choose from and one will eventually work. Get a Fresh start, review the setup procedures well, and do your step by step application. Don't get upset when one code after another fail, as eventually you will unlock the mystry.
You may have IR interference at night because of other items you turn on at night. Try leaving everything off except your TV and receive, try your remote to make sure it functions. Then turn 1 item on at a time, try the remote to see if it works or stops working. Once it stops working, the last item you turned on is causing the interference. It is then a matter of relocating that item so it won't continue to interfere with the remote functions. I hope this helps.
METHOD" presse TV1 and SET button light on remote is steady enter code ...light goes out.. PRESS SET again and try. Keep trying unhtil unit can be turned on or off, then you know you have the right code. Write it on the back of the TV incase it drops out which can happen.
open the battery cover on the wii remote you want to make player 1 press the red button while it is facing the sensor bar. Then open the memory card door on the front of the wii and press the red button on the top. the remote should flash a few times then it will be your new player 1 remote. You can only do this if you have 2 AA batteries in the remote. It will not work with the rechatgeable batterie packs because the remote must have power while you re-synch it.
Hi Gerald P, just posted we experienced same problem. Few minutes later my husband has finally solved our problem. Don't know whether you can try the same. We had an old FOXTEL remote, got onto FOXTEL site and instructions how to program remote to control TV.
Dowloaded instructions with code for TV (after trying a few tries, the fifth code solved it). FOXTEL control needs to be programmed with the code suitable to TV. By pressing "ON", "AV", Red button and Select (at same time) then put code in. Turn "OFF" then "ON" see if code complies. If not try another one until you get it.
By using the FOXTEL remote on the "AV" you can change the channels on the TV and adjust volume up or down as well.
Hope this can help you in your situation. Glad we are up and running again. Bye
