Try reinstalling the software on your PC. If you have difficulty, download the latest version of Kodak Share from Kodak's website (for your OS). Also make sure that the camera is actually detected by the PC.

An alternative would be to totally bypass KodakShare and use Windows Explorer instead.
1. Simply right click on 'START' button on your PC, and select 'Explore'.
2. Next scroll down on the left panel and find the drive that corresponds to your device . (It will usually be found after your DVD/CDROM drives).
3. Now click the (+) next to the entry to expand the folders.
4. Browse to the folder that holds your video, right click and select copy (use CTRL and right click button to select more than one photo).
5. Next browse to a folder on your PC where you would like to store the video, right click and paste.

Hope that helps! Should you have any further questions, please feel free to post them here.

P.S. - If you find that the solution/answer I provided led you to, or resulted in a fix, please close the ticket with a FixYa! rating. I would be very grateful for your show of appreciation.

Thank you for using FIXYA!

Cheers!

if you are using a windows XP or a Vista computer, you don't really need the software to get the media off the camera.

just plug it in to your computer, go to "my computer" and local an item there that has the name of your camera or an item that says removable media or removable storage device.

just doubleclick on it and then check the folders out and you wills ee the contents of the camera.

all you have to do at this point is to copy and paste the items to your computer...

if you have other questions just lemme know
