Question about Motorola Mobility MOTOKRZR K1 Cellular Phone
Hey. I hope I can be some of help, as I used to have the same phone as you and I always added music from my computer to use as ringtones. For starters, make sure the song you want to use is 192 kps or lower, and is in the mp3 format. I usually downloaded my songs via limewire; however, as long as you have the song(s) you want in a separate folder(like your music folder) in your computer documents - it makes for easy transfer from your computer to your cell. Now onto the transferring....
What you want to do is have the usb cable that came with the phone plugged into a usb port on your computer, then plugged into your phone. A little icon will appear in the lower right corner of your computer screen displaying a message - new hardware found(usb storage) ignore that
go to your music folder and right click on the song and select - send to (whatever drive your usb cable is plugged into - for example - :J drive
you should see a grey box appear up in the left corner of your screen displaying the copy animation.
Once your finished with the transferring part, you are going to want to unplug the usb cable from your phone and computer, then look up your sounds file in your phone to make sure it's there and plays.
After the first transfer, it's a piece of cake from there! =)
