URC 6131 Universal Remote Problem

TiVos. There may be more information elsewhere, but I don't recall
precisely. (The thread covers a lot of territory, including non-OfA
remotes.)

I have a 6131 that I use with a Hughes HDVR2, and the "info" button works
fine, so I can't help you there. As far as I know, the "exit" button is a
dead key on the remote, and you just have to arrow your way out of menus.
To be honest, I never really noticed until you mentioned it.

I use a different OFA remote for the main setup: one with programmable keys.
. .but even there I never programmed an "exit" key.

Based on recommendations posted here, I bought a URC 6131 remote. The Info
button does not call up the program information banner and the Exit button
will not exit from the Main Menu (or from anything for that matter). All
other functions seem to work OK. I have tried the out-of-the-box code for
the PVR as well as listed codes. The problem exists with both a Hughes
HDVR2 and a Phillips DSR 7000. Is this a known problem, and if so, is there
a fix?
