Question about Dell InspironTM 600m Notebook
How to replace
Disclaimer: you should have a tech do it.
That being said, here is a link that shows you how to R/R the system board. One thing to remember when replacing laptop system boards, Keep the screws together and seperate. IE: case screws together, Motherboard screws together and so on.
You may have to copy and paste this link into your browser.
Click and downlaod the service manual. un-zip it to your c: drive. It will un-zip to a c:\dell\dosc\sm folder. Then drill down to the sm folder. In there you will see a Internet Explorer icon labeled "sysboard". click on that and the instructions will be there.
Take your time , Good luck,

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
