Turn the computer off.
Disconnect the AC power cord.
Disconnect the "data" cord from the "on-board" video-card.
Remove the side-panel.
Buy a PCI-E video-card.
Insert the video-card into the PCI-slot -- make sure that it is fully "seated".
Connect the "data" cord from the monitor to the new video-card.
Replace the side-panel.
Reconnect the AC power-cord.
Turn the computer on, and let Windows "discover" the new video-card, and load new device-drivers.
