Controller Freak Out

When in select mode on video game the controller flips through the modes super fast and refuses to stop. Another problem is when used to play racing/car games car will automatically slant to one side. I put in new batteries and even restarted the controller yet it refused to work. Can you help?

S-Video Hookups

Note: The S-Video cables are not compatible with the redesigned Super Nintendo. They are sold separately at most retail locations as well as nintendo's Online Store.

Installation Steps:
Locate the Audio/Video inputs on the back of the TV or VCR.
Place the black end of the S-Video Cable into the S-Video IN on the back of the TV or VCR. Connect the red end of the cable to Audio IN Right.Connect the white end of the cable to the Audio IN Left. Use a slight twistingmotion when inserting the each cable and ensure the cables are firmly pressed into the input.
Connect the rectangular (gray) plug of the S-Video cable into the multi-out connector on the back of the Control Deck.
After system is connected to the TV or VCR:
Insert Game Pak fully into the Control Deck.
Plug the controller(s) into the front of the Control Deck using the left-most port for one-player games.
Plug the AC Adapter into the back of the Control Deck. Plug the other end into a wall outlet.
Set the VCR's TV/VCR button to VCR. You can put a movie in the VCR, press Play, make sure the movie appears on your TV, then press Stop. This puts your VCR into VCR mode.
Slide the Power Switch on (toward the Game Pak).
Turn on the VCR and locate the input select. It's often called: input select, AUX auxiliary), Line, Line In, Input, Source, Select, In, or EXT (external). Switch the input select to show the Nintendo game.
The game image should now be displayed on the screen. You're ready to play! To record video games, set the system up to play games as usual, then insert a video tape and press Record. It's that easy!

Controller is in default mode but when you look it isn't in default mode. the look part is backwards.does this make sense to anyone?

Sounds like the game you're playing uses an inverted look controller scheme. If the change allows it, you should be able to change it in the game settings.
Load up your Game menu and look for something that'll let you adjust your controller layout. Specifically, you want some to turn inverted look off. That should restore your controller layout to what you're used to.

Playing Madden11 and cannot control the pkayers. Seems like in auto mode. How do I correct?

You have to make sure that you set your controller in the right mode either as player one or player two. It is possible that you have been making the mistake of not setting your controller as a player on either side and as a result, the game is detecting your controller as an inactive controller so it prepares a game between two sides of the CPU.
You can also make sure that your controller buttons(analog or digital) is working properly so it does not become a case of stuck controller buttons.
Another thing you might wan to watch out for is for the settings that are set to control the players to be in the right mode and selection that would suite your kind of play. For example, the game might have been set to move the players with the digital controls while you are trying to use the analog controls to move the player. This is because for almost all 2011 sport games that have been produced by EA have currently undergone controller review and changes.

SNES Controller 2 Port Not Working

The 2nd Player controller port just might be shot. That or the part of the main board that deals with the 2nd controller. My suggestion is purchasing another controller board (the main board and controller board are separate and easily removable pieces) and switching them out. If the problem persists then the SNES's main board probably has an issue.

I have a canon SD 580. When I playback the video clip it's always in fast forward mode and I can't play it normal speed. Any help?

Make sure you are shooting your movies in "Standard" mode. If you have the mode set to something else, especially "Time Lapse", the playback may not match 'natural' motion.

In any case, you can control the speed of the playback. When you first enter the movie playback mode, there should be a movie control bar along the bottom of the LCD. Instead of the "Play" button, select the "Slow Motion Playback" button (single arrow with single bar next to the normal Play button), and control the speed with the left or right arrows on the multi-controller.
