Question about Coleman Powermate Premium Plus 6250W Portable Generator
This genorator was bought for hurricane Rita. Ran for 3 hours and was put away. Engine runs perfectly fine. Went to use it for hurricane Ike and all I could get was 3 volts out of either receptical. Tried a suggestion of "reenergizing" the stator with a battery(no changes). This genorator is out of warranty and I cannot get through to anyone at Coleman. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Pramac bought them out i just order parts today oct-15-08 call1-800-445-1805 took me awhile to get a hold of someone but she seemed to know what was going on. my guess is that the printed curciut board in the back of the generater head is bad i have had to change alot of these out.
