Question about Insignia IS-LCDTV32 32 in. Television
Bought a 32-inch; Insignia tv, plasma, 720p,in Aug.2008. Recently, the screen has an uneven dark pink wash on it--as if someone had lightly wiped part of the screen with pink chalk. Today, the display did not come up when I turned the set on, but showed a dark mix of random colors. The sound was fine. I turned it off, then back on, and it came up but with the pink wash. Have had the same thing happen several times now: first turn on, no display or dark colors, then 2d time fine except for pink. Is the set defective or what? What should be next step? It's only 2 months old and was not a demo, but new in the box. We're on high def DirectTV.

SOURCE: I've had my 32 inch
Your set was made by LG and probably was assembled in China. Unfortunately, LG's track record isn't very good from what I have seen just from this site and have seen negative comments elsewhere. If you purchased it new, I would be looking for the nearest 'authorized' service center.
