This happens repeatedly. I've done the above solution 10 times. I need to know why it happens and how to fix that or I need a new printer.

At first it was only the first page that came out folded accordion style...  The last few weeks, the first page has been jamming in the fuser (orange rollers near the top of the printer).  After freeing the first page, I can get it to print but now it appears all of the pages are coming out folded.
There are 10 to 12  horizontal folds along the entire page.  It's as if the paper is being fed from a faster roller into a slower roller where the paper becomes slack and folds and then goes through a fast roller again to stretch the paper out.  The image is clean looking so I don't suspect the problem is happening before the image drum.

I have the same problem but the print quality is now getting worse. It is no longer just the first page.

Printing Black and White only seemed to work but that now fails.

I want to fix this as its only printed 6000 sheet and has full toner cartidges. Its also a great printer when it works

It sounds like something is jamming or obstructing the paper path, or a roller is sticking or became damaged. Check the entire paper path and manually roll the fuser to make sure it's not damaged as well.

Switch OFF and let it cool for 10 minutes. If the paper is concertina'd into the top of the fuser unit, raise the two green levers and pull the black flap forwards. Use the mis-feed clearing knob (turn anti-clockwise), and carefully remove what you can from the top. This may leave some of the paper tucked inside behind the back roller.
Make sure your hands are clean. Keep the black flap open towards you, and lower the green levers so that the rollers re-engage. Press with your finger to trap any paper ends firmly against the back roller, then turn the misfeed-clearing knob anti-clockwise. This pulls the paper back out of the gap.

Drop the cover down and release the 2 green cilps and allow the paper to be pulled out

Dell 1320c printer jam

Your paper is probably stuck in the fuser. Open the front, top of printer. There are two blue tabs on either side. You have to remove the fuser and gently pry the paper with your fingers. It's probably crunched up like an accordian. Don't use any implements and don't touch the fuser. GENTLY is the key here.
This probably happened because the paper was too thick or you were printer a full page of ink and the paper got sticky.

The screen reads paper jam error, but there is no visible paper jam and when turned on a grinding noise occurs

Most likely, there is a paper jam in the fuser unit....which is stalling the fuser rollers, thus causing grinding noise (accordian or fan folded jam)

Paper keeps getting jammed at the back

What happened is that the fuser has quit working properly. You would need to have the fuser replaced.

Sharp AL1642 CS Copier Grinding noise and Paper Jams

Loud clacking sound, jamming in fuser ? sounds like the gear that turns the fuser are bad and not meshing together,
accordion jam is the fingers or claws that ride on the fuser roller are probably worn out ( these can be replaced usually 3-5 ).

You can buy the parts and replace them yourself if a handy person, not that difficult.

Dell 1700 printer paper jams

if the paper is jamming at the back of the unit, and looks like an accordian after removal, it's more than likely only the paper sensor on the fuser. i dont recall the part number, but it can be had from online suppliers for under $40.
