WHEN THE CONTROL PANEL IS OFF THE TOP OF THE STOVE STILL WORKS, BUT TO GET THE OVEN TO WORK YOU HAVE TO TOUCH THE CANCEL BUTTON, THEN IT'LL ONLY STAY ON A FEW MINUTES BEFORE IT BEEP AND E1 F2 COMES BACK. WE JUST REPLACED THE MAIN BOARD FOR $300 BECAUSE OF THE F1. HELP HELP

Hi Jesse,
The E-1 is letting you know that you have a problem with your oven control. This is the main control board for the oven. There is 3 things that can be done to solve the problem before you have to replace the board.
1: One of the buttons on the touchpad could be stuck. Press each button repeatedly making sure you feel them clicking out. Then disconnect power for 5 minutes. Check to see if problem returns.

2: Remove the control panel and check the ribbons from the touchpad to the control, they can sometimes work loose and need to be re-installed.

3: You can try to reset the control by disconnecting power and waiting 20 minutes then reconnect the power. Turning off the breaker will work fine for this.

If these do not solve the problem you will need a new control. If i have your complete model number I will be happy to give you a price on the part. Good luck with your repair and please dont hesitate to give us a call or email. Please also rate me. Thanks

I have model 665 95154 300 I am trying to clean the oven I push clean oven and I get a code E1-F5 what should I do now?

The E1- F5 error is a door lock error.

The control (TIMER) has likely failed in this instance - BUT...

Sometimes when you disconnect power to a range and reconnect it the electronic range control gets confused.
You should disconnect power again for 15 seconds and reconnect and see if that helps.

If it doesn't cure the E1- F5 error hold the bake button in until E0- F2 appears in the display.
This is the error for a stuck button on the keypad and is the way to clear the memory of the electronic range control.

Sometimes these work, but if the control has failed it won't make any difference.

Looks like yours is a bad oven control. There is a # at the end of yourmodel # 0-5 that will determine which control it takes. Once you havethat # you can look it up at http://www3.sears.com/ Looks like the part costs about $165.

After a power failure I am getting the code e1 f1 flashing on my display board and it will not go away.

q.gif Why is the display showing E"#"-F"#," for example, E1-F2?
Answer Is "PF" displayed on the control?
A temporary power failure has been detected. Press the Stop/Clear keypad to reset your control. You may need to reset your clock.
Is the display showing E0-F5?
The Self-Cleaning latch may be interfering with the oven door causing the Self-Cleaning cycle not to work. If the oven door is open and will not lock, press Stop/Clear to clear the display, press and hold the door switch plunger (located in the upper-right corner of the oven front), and the door latch will unlock. If the oven door is closed and locked, press Stop/Clear to clear the display; apply pressure to the upper-right corner of the oven door, and the door will unlock.
Is the display showing E"#"-F"#," for example, E1-F2?
You will need to schedule service.

Problem codes for self-cleaning ranges

My experience (Kenmore Ultra-bake Model 665-72002102) was that E1 F5 meant an error with the oven lock switch. In our case, the latch was partly stuck from food or other debris. Just moving the latch back and forth loosened the scale that was making it stick, and it worked again.
