Hi, I just bought my quinny Zapp and its undeployable. It seems that its stuck at one of the buttons (button 2 on the side near the handle). Ive tried so many times to deploy it and it never opens. its stuck someway and if push it too hard i know itll break. any advice would be much appreciated. thanks in advance
Result! I took off the pram clips attached to the 1 and 2 lock buttons and noticed the working button had a metal coil on the inside barrel, the broken/stiff button had just a small hole, looks like the coil/pin came loose and was inside the button casing, I sprayed inside the hole using wd40 with a tube attachment to the spray nozzle, finally the number 1 button presses in! Thx
You have hopefully sorted this out by now, but I had a similar problem with my Quinny Zapp. I sprayed the button with WD40 (between the button and the surrounding plastic) and this did the trick for mine.

No the new Quinny Zapp Xtra sun canopy is part of the seat fabric.
If you wish to turn your standard Quinny Zapp into a Quinny Zapp Xtra you need to purchase the Quinny Zapp Xtra seat unit as an accessory from your local retailer as it will have the seat frame and the adaptors required to fit it into the chassis you have.
Visit www.quinny.com to find your nearest retailer.
Yes the new seat unit can be used with old zap.You remove the fabric seat (look on u-tube if you don't know how)the new seat unit then fits on to frame via the addapters that come with the xtra seat unit, at the point where the car seat addapters fit. There is a large push button on the top of the seat unit which you push in to recline or sit up the seat, and a little one too next to it, that needs to be pushed away from the larger one, while you hold the large button down when you want to remove the seat unit.I found fitting the xtra seat very easy.To fold the zapp you Must remove the entire seat unit as it won't fold with it on, unlike the old one.
