How do i know when the phone has finished its initial charge

if its straight out the box, you should charge the new handset at least for a 12 hr period, (overnight) & your handset will do one of two things, stay turned on & display full battery strength,or remain off but display battery full on the screen, the longer you keep on charge (max 24hr) the longer the life of your battery.

Battery First Charge On Cellular Phones

When you first get a cell phone, the manufacturer and most likely the store will tell you to immediately put it on charge. DONT!
The best thing to do is use the charge that is on the battery already until it is dead, then give it one full charge.
This will mean the battery's 'memory' will know a full charge from the word go which means that not only will a full charge last longer but the battery will last longer overall.

Can the phone be left on a charger for longer than necessary without hurting the battery. Will it quit charging?

The phone can be left on longer than necessary and it will stop charging and will not harm the battery. It is recommended that when the phone indicates a full charge, disconnect the charger from the phone, then from the outlet.

My i9+++ phone wont turn on

problem can be solved. How long has it been in the box and when last did you charge the battery of the phone?.

The longer you keep a phone and don't use it, it is likely to affect the phone somehow.

The battery has not been charged for a long period of time and the cell of the battery is weak, that's why the phone is not coming.

You need to charge the battery for longer hour for it to regain the strength to power the phone on again. After longer hours charging of the battery, the phone will come .

Have a pleasant day.

My MOTOKRZR K1 battery/phone will not stay charged very long.

Let ur phone completely die. Don't charge it or anything when the low battery notice comes on. After it completely dies, put it on the charger only until it says charge complete. U might have to do it a few times to get ur battery performing as it should. If you charge ur battery too often, it causes ur battery to swell (weird I know) and your battery starts resisting charge. Hope this helps!! (I used to have the same phone and the same problem. I did this, and now my mom is using the phone and has an exceptional battery time)

My nokia N95 is no longer charging

It could be the charging unit on the bottom of the phone.Check for discolouration like green mould or rusting. If this is present you phone is moisture damaged and cannot be fixed. If this is not there bring it to your network to get repaired. But before you do that try a different charger with your phone as sometimed the fuse in your charger could be gone.hope this helps

mine too, but letting your phone die completely once in a while before charging it again helps the battery live longer and stay charged longer.
