Question about 2wire (1000-000057-000) Modem

I have a macbook that I cant get to connect to my 2wire modem correctly

At first I could connect, and then I would be on the internet and I would randomly get kicked off. Now Im trying to reconnect and It wont let me.
Can someone PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

Make sure that the airport is on. Connect to your modem & type in the wireless password.

If still having problem joining the network, delete the keychain but make sure you only delete the keychain for 2wire by going to utilities then keychain access.

I have a 2wire modem from att. i made a 50 foot eathernet cord, i have a eathernet transmitter teaster to test the cable to see if it is good (and it is) but i still cant get internet on the other side of...


Try with a shorter enet cable and see if you get internet, if you are able to get internet with a shorter cable then the cable might not be working fine. Else get a wireless card installed on your computer since the 2wire modem has wireless connectivity. It would be more easy and convenient to connect to wireless using the 2 wire modem.

The 2wire Modem acts as a router too. Some Models have wireless connections. You can use hubs and switches along with.

Make sure you have your cords plugged into the right plug-in and that all your cords are very sucure, I am sure you havve done this but i have been throug the same peoblem before. it could be a number of things;
