There are nomerous way to make a graph in c++. you just have to now the code for it.. abse on my knowlegde there are on "for loop" statement that can be use in making a graph in c++.

How can i draw graph.


This should help you setup your calculator to do graphing.

1. Prepare calculator for graphing
Turn StatPlotsOff to avoid errors:

Press [2nd][STATPLOT][4:PlotsOff][ENTER].

2. Setup Graph type
  • Press [MODE] key.
  • In Mode set up screen, make set the angle unit (if you are drawing trigonometric functions)..
  • Use the arrows to move cursor to 3rd line to highlight degree or radian and press [ENTER]. The important thing is that you be aware of the unit so that you do not get unexpected results.
  • On same screen, verify that Func is highlighted. If you are drawing PARametric plots, POLar plots or SEQuence plots, you highlight the relevant item in the list
  • If it is not, use arrow to highlight Func and press [ENTER] to validate.
  • Do not worry if you do not have exactly the same screen as in the screen picture (We may have different OS Versions)

3. Entering the functions to draw (assuming you want to draw y= functions)
  • Press [Y=] to enter function editor.
  • Type in a function
  • Press [ENTER] at the end of each function.
  • Before pressing [GRAPH], make sure that all the = signs that define the functions to be graphed are highlighted white on black. If one is not highlighted, use arrow to move cursor on the sign and press [ENTER].
  • In the screen capture 4 functions are slated to be drawn.

4. Selecting the Graph Style (You may ignore this now, because it is unimportant for just one graph)
  • Select the graph style: The small piece of line to the left of a Y that defines a function is the style.
  • Move cursor on it and press [ENTER] .
  • Each [ENTER] (on same line) selects another style.
  • On the next screen you have all the styles available on the calculator.
  • Do not select the bubble on line 6: It is for animations. It will not leave a trace at the end of the plot.

5. Drawing the Graphs
  • Press [GRAPH] to see the graphs.
  • If one of them is missing, verify that its = is still highlighted, then use the [WINDOW] to set the Window dimensions,
  • Here are the dimensions of the standard window

When I try to graph, I get ERR:INVALID DIM I tried going to PlotsOff and I still can not graph


What happened when you tried going to PlotsOff. Did you actually execute the command?

If you executed that command and cannot graph then for some reason you are feeding lists or matrices as arguments to the functions you want to draw.
By the way are you drawing STATISTICAL GRAPHS or FUNCTION GRAPHS?

If you are drawing statistical graphs and you executed the PlotsOff command, it is normal you will not be able to graph because PlotsOff turns OFF the statistical graphs.

Here are a few things you can do:

If you got the message while trying to draw a graph
  1. Press [2nd][Y=] (STAT PLOT)
  2. Choose option [4:PlotsOff][ENTER]. Screen displays Done
If message popped up while doing something else that involves lists or matrices, the length of lists may be different, or the dimensions of matrices may not be compatible.

To Clear the lists:
  1. Press [2nd][0] (CATALOG)
  2. Press [PGRM] (C) to jump to first command that starts with c.
  3. Use arrow to scroll down to ClrAllLists, select it [ENTER]
  4. Calculator displays Done
  5. Start the new problem.
To reset the Ram press [2nd][+] (MEM) [7:Reset][1:All Ram][2:Reset]. Press [CLEAR] to erase the Ram Cleared message.

How to use graphing calculator?


The casio FX-300Ms calculator cannot do graphs. To tell you how to use a graphing calculator TO DRAW GRAPHS we need to know the exact brand and model number of the calculator.

  1. Most graphing calculators basically function the same way.
  2. You select the graph type (function, polar,parametric, sequence, 3D, wire mesh, slope field, etc.)
  3. You enter the algebraic form of the function you want to draw.
  4. You press a button or menu to GRAPH
  5. The graph is drawn.
  6. If you want to see a particular part of the graph, you use a ZOOM function, or you enter values for the WINDOW dimensions.
  7. Most graphing calculators have a TRACE function that allow you to follow the curve you have drawn to read off values of coordinate points.
  8. You can also use the calculator to find zeros roots) of functions, calculate derivatives at some chosen points or calculate the area "under the curve", find the minimum and maximum of a function.
In addition to its graphing capabilities, a graphing calculator can be used as a scientific calculator. Sometimes it can also do statistical and financial calculations, matrices, list manipulations, operations on complex numbers, text editing,, creating programs etc.

Graph drawing problem


Read the first part of the answer to deactivate the statistical plots. No need to read the rest if you know how to do graphs.

Prepare calculator to graph

The calculator doesnt graph two equation on the graph


A) Before drawing function Y1=f(X), R1=F(Theta), (X1=f(T), Y1=f(T))
you should turn the statistical plots OFF.
To turn statistical plots off
  1. Press [2nd][Y=] to open the (STAT PLOT) menu.
  2. Select [4:PlotsOff] and
  3. Press [ENTER].
  4. Calculator displays Done
  5. Restart your graphs.
  6. Adjust the window dimensions if necessary or use the ZOOM function to have all graphs displayed.
B) If you cannot draw more than one function

Usually as soon as you start entering an expression in the Y= editor screen, the = sign is highlighted to ensure the drawing of a function. However, if you have previously used the Transfm application to draw dynamic graphs, it takes over the graphing functionalities from the native OS and you can only draw a single graph.
The reason is that dynamic graphing needs one or two parameters that can be changed during the graphing process and the graph redrawn with a new value of a parameter, and you end up with a family of curves differing one from the other by the values of one parameters. But since the calculator has space for 10 graphs at most, only one function can be highlighted.

To make a long story short, you must Uninstall the Transfrm application from memory. The procedure will not erase it, just kick it out of memory.
  1. Press the [Apps] key.
  2. Scroll down or up to reach the Transfmapplication.
  3. Select it and press [ENTER].
  4. If that application was running you will see a new screen that tells you some thing like
    • Transfrm App
    • 1:Uninstall
    • 2:Continue

    Press1:Uninstall.
    Graphing functionalities will revert to the native OS

Another potential culprit is the Inequalz App. You recognize that Inequalz is runnibg if the [ Y=] editor screen shows tabs at the bottom

To uninstall it, do as for the Transfm and select the option that will unload it from memory.
  1. Press [Apps]
  2. Select [ : Inequalz]
  3. Screen displays INEQUAL RUNNING
  • [1:Continue]
  • [2:Quit Inequal]
  • 3:About]

When I put an equation into y=, there are arrows to the left, I don't know why

I cant graph more than one equation at a time, it only allows me to graph one Y value at a time.

I dont know how to graph


Hello,
