Computer Restarts. Okay, Well I have just bought a PC possible 4 years old. Runs perfectly, and I have heard it has been updated (Don't know what from) to 80gb HD, and 1gb RAM. The computer kept restarting by itself every 15 minutes when I first got it (Yesterday), and today it takes up 2 an hour to restart. It just clicks and the screen goes black and loads up. Please Reply Quick!

Ermm, Is it maybe got to do with the upgrading? Maybe the person who had upgraded it had made a slight error inside my PC...

(Wrong rating) Well, I think I've finally found the problem. It is probably the updated software added.

-- Remove any recently installed maliciously software/add-on or any other application or toolbar. Sometimes there occur software conflicts and the Windows causes computer to randomly restart.
-- Try to cool down your PC as the overheating due to overuse of computer may result in system freezing and sudden restarting.
-- Update your BIOS.
-- Update the drivers
-- Make it sure the error is not caused by the deficient power supply. You may try to change the power supply.
-- Conduct the registry clean up scan for quick fix of the problem.
-- Remove flashy games and/or untrusted antiviruses/antispywares. Conduct the security scan through the most powerful scanners only.

Most probably windows is generating an error and your computer is set to automatically restart when an error occurs. Try disabling automatic restart. right click my computer and select properties. click on the advanced tab and uncheck the automatically restart check box.

The reason why we need to do this is for us to see the actual error so that we will know what to do.

It may have something to do with it but since your computer works for a few minutes to 1 hour it's most likely a software issue.

Apple ios 6 download

- depends on the model of your iPad:
For the iPad first generation (A1219) to update is only possible with connecting the device to iTunes on a computer.
- but this model supports only iOS 5 - NO iOS 6/7/8
for all other models:
There are two ways to upgrade the iOS version of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch - via connecting the device to iTunes on a computer
- or directly from within the device, but only since iOS 5, it is possible to upgrade the iOS version without the need to connect the iOS device to a computer (over-the-air update)
just go to: settings - general - software update

I bought a dell latitude but it was password protected and i dont have it any suggestion

I'd put Linux on it.

UBUNTU link

That computer is about 5 years old. Linux works very well with old computers.
Takes up less space, uses less processor power to run, and comes with free versions of pretty much everything.

I don't even think a current version of windows will install on a 5 year old Dell. So you'd be stuck with out of date anti-virus and no updates.

Boot off the Ubuntu disk and just wipe windows.

I have just bought a COSMI 2003 perfect firewall system. Is it viable and will it update to present requirements

What a joke; you didn't list your requirements to consider, and I don't think I ever heard a professional call software that shipped viable or not.

Just because nobody ever lent credence to 8-year-old security software (that was maybe $5) doesn't mean you can't build a multi-billion dollar business out of making it do something for you. If you want a firewall though, update your router with one that has some reasonable firewall features from a company with an actual reputation and business volume making sure their firewalls work awesome; or use free ones associated with your operating system's environments, and perhaps consider OpenDNS if your ISP doesn't offer DNS options (e.g. not resolving StreetMedications.com as such as caution.)

Maxtor OneTouch Mini 4 not working! HELP PLEASE ASAP!

Sounds like you do not have the drivers for Vista. Try downloading the latest software for the Mini from the site below. Unistall the old software from your machine, reboot and install the new. It should work now. I once had a similar problem and also had to reformat the Mini also.

got this from the net, maybe it helps:

The Problem with Nokia 3110c – Switching off and automatically restartingThis is what happens. Nokia 3110 hangs, gets switched off andrestarts randomly. More often, it restarts around 3 times or so andthen gets switched off.
Possible Causes and SolutionsCause 1 – Phone Memory Full – Nokia 3110c mobile phone has got 9MB of internal memory.
Solution – Keep the free space between 350 to 500KB, so as to keep things running smoothly on your phone and preventNokia 3110c from restarting.
Cause 2 – Changing Themes – Some people havereported that the phone restarts automatically when they try changingdisplay themes on the phone.
Solution – Don’t get your phone loaded with toomany themes downloaded from the internet or atleast, don’t switchthemes frequently. These themes, mind you, also load up things intoyour already falling Nokia 3110c phone memory.
Cause 3 – Memory Cards – Some people have reported that Nokia 3110c restarts due to some issues with the memory card.
Solution – Remove the card, get it formatted and then insert it back and then restore factory settings. This just might solve the issue.
Cause 4 – Transferring data via Blueooth / USB datacable (or) Updating Music Library – A few people have reported thattheir Nokia 3110c mobile phone restarts when updating the music library.
Solution – Don’t try updating of music library frequently or don’t often transfer data in/out of your Nokia 3110c phone.
Cause 5 – MP3 files
Solution – This may seem dumb, but considerconverting all your MP3 music files to WMA and then store them on thememory card. Some users suggested this.
Disclaimer – Follow the suggested solutions at your own risk. The author is not responsible for any damage caused to your phone.
