Sounds like you need to BACK UP all your personal information Pictures Documents etc.... to a CD or DVD as they will all be gone after you reformat and then reformat the computer with the original installation disc. Reply if you need additional help doing that.

Uninstalling problem of antivirus software

First.. install a different antivirus program while you are fixing this installation. Try microsoft security essentials or AVG.
Then.
Check your program files folder for any mention of Avast, and delete it.
Run a search for avast and delete anything you find.
Download a registry cleaner, I use CC Cleaner.
Run the cleaner and remove all the files it finds, run the registry cleaner and let it delete all the problems it finds .
IF you want to try with avast again, uninstall the other antivirus program you may have installed. then try with the Avast again

I have a pop-up on my screen that want go away.I have tried to use system restore, but when I try to select a date to restore to my computer is not responding

you probably have a virus/trojan/malware infection. Get a good scanner from www.malwarebytes.org and www.superantispyware.com. Between those two malware scanners you will have a decent chance of getting control of your system back in your hands. Add a good FREE antivirus program like Avast Home Free at www.avast.com. Remember running two antivirus programs at the same time can cause slowdowns and conflicts on a system.

Amvo.exe application error

Looking around the internet it looks like the file is a virus, thus causing the issues you are experiencing. Download a good virus/spyware protection program like spysweeper to clean it and keep it from happening again.

When i turn off my computer it says END PROGRAM ccSvc.Hst When I press end program it takes forever for my computer to turn off. Also other option says press cancel and return to windows when I do this...

That file is part of Norton/Symantec security suite. I've seen that error on many systems with Norton Products.

You may be able to avoid the error by closing Norton in the system tray prior to shutdown of the system.

When you select shutdown from the menu, windows forces all running programs to shutdown, including the antivirus. For whatever reason, sometimes Norton doesn't like the shutdown request.

If you are not especially attached to the Norton product, you might try uninstalling it and trying AVG or Avast antivirus.
