Question about PC Desktops
Unfortunately, the only sure-fire solution I know of is to reinstall the OS from scratch (best way is to reformat the hard drive) then reinstall the Paint Shop application. More and more OEM software is made to be very finicky as to when and where it will install. The SW companies make much less on OEM SW vs. full versions, so they really want to make sure that it is a new computer that the SW is being installed on, in compliance with the license.
I know this is probably not what you wanted to hear, but I hope it was helpful. Please let me know if this helps solve your problem.
