Can't remove battery of remote to bose radio/cd player (won't work)

How do I remove battery to replace it? I can't seem to get the battery holder to slide out to replace it. It won't work, and therefore I can't use the radio.
Thanks.

On the back of the remote there is a small hole. You need to slide the small lock in the hole over and the battery compartment should pop open. This requires something small like a straightened paper clip. You may need to coax it a little with your finger by pushing out off the end of the remote. There is a picture of this on the back of my remote. I just removed my battery so i could replace it. The battery size is CR2032.

No sound Bose wave

I took mine back to the Bose store and they gave me credit on my Wave that was about ten years old toward a new CD wave radio. I would recommend taking it to the Bose store and see what they can do for you.

The remote for my radio/cd player won't work any longAny suggestions? The model is: jWIN JXCD3250 Classic Style CD/AM/FM

Remove the batteries, clean the battery terminals with rubbing alcohol and Q-Tips and replace the batteries with new ones, if no! I would suggest you have someone look at it, usually find bad solder connections that need touch up.

My bose wave system is no responding to the remote. Anything I can do?

The only user serviceable part of this fine system is the battery in the remote. The battery used in most of these remotes is the "button" or "coin" type cell "CR-2032"You can find these at Walmart, Radio Shack, CVS etc. for just a few bucks. Bring the remote batteries with you to match to a replacement.

If that doesn't work, you may need a replacement remote or the radio may need repair.

Good luck!

The CD player in the car seems to be stuck. It wont play, eject or load. The radio is fine. It's a bose in a Mazda 6 2003 plate

i've seen this work before, remove the positive battery cable from the battery, and reattach it. it forces the radio to reset and it will eject

We dropped our Bose Wave radio cd player on the tile floor. One speaker seems to not be working. How do we fix it? Cd player is working. Radio is working.

You probably can't repair it yourself, It definitely sounds like a qualified tech's job to me. It could be many, many reasons for the failure. As simple as a fuse popped out of it's holder to part of the motherboard cracked. The shock could loosen any solder joints. If the speakers are built in it could be a damaged speaker or anything working backwards from there. Electronics and tile floor spells expensive to me. But I could be wrong, it happened once before (only a joke)

Non-working CD in Bose wave radio

Try replacing the battery on the bottom of the system - alot of people miss it because you have it constantly plugged into the mains, but replacing this (somehow) re-sets the system, and 9 times out of 10 solves the issue.

CD player not working

CD Player on my Bose Wave radio/cd just blinks CD and it appears to me that the disc is not spinning. This is the same problem that many others have already identified. I unplugged the unit and removed the battery but this did not solve the problem. I notice that there is a "platter" (part of the lid) that sandwiches the cd onto the spindle. the platter seems tight but does turn. Also, does anyone know if there is a drive belt that may have broken?
