Question about Acer Aspire 1640Z Notebook
I really appreciate your help, but as your reply was lacking any punctuation, some of it was a bit ambiguous. Is this a fair redraft of your problem solving advice?
"Yes go back make and sure all the latest drivers are installed, before you install Service Pack 3. Run 'msconfig' from the start menu, then under 'startup tab' disable all you don't need including junk starting with 'comp easting ram'. Then goto next tab labelled 'servcies'. To the left at the bottem of the window it says 'hide microsoft products'; check this, then any processes left active, uncheck, hit apply, close, then reboot. Okay?"
Have I got you right there?
Thanks again - Mark
