Accidentally locked my ipod

When i unplugged my ipod it was already locked . . . . i've tried trouble shooting but still it didn't solve the problem

    my son was playing with my ipod and he put in a code on it and can't remember what the code is and we have tried to figure it out and I don't know how to get it unlocked now because he doesn't know what he did and I have tried different codes on what he thought he did and it just keeps staying on that screen saying that it needs the code to unlock it Can someone please help me?

When you plug in your ipod you should see your ipod folders such as calendar, notes, contacts. Go to your settings and make the hidden folders appear. Click on "Ipod_control" then "Device". You will see a file named "_locked" simply rename it as "un_locked". Problem solved and you dont have to lose all your songs!

  1. Plug in your Ipod to where you Synced Or its Naturally PLugged into & Click Restore .
  2. BUT your music will be Erased but as Long as you Have all Your Songs your Okay .

Green and orange light flash when I try to use it. battery is full. Plugged it said it had to be restored ok fine won't restore. Error 1442.

My ipod is frozen. I was trying to restar it but it doesnt work. my laptop doesnt recognize ipod so i cant use itunes to fix it. and everytime i try to charge it i see black screen with an apple sign


have you already attempted to reset the iPod by pressing and holding both the menu and center buttons for at least ten seconds; or until an apple icon appears on the screen?
If not I would recommend that as your first trouble shooting step in attempting to resolve this issue.

Ipod nano screen and music keep locking up


Please dont take your ipod along with you. May be it doesnt like to cme out for running
