Question about Oster 3212SNB Food Processor

Parts for Oster Food Processor Mod: 3212-433

After 4 uses, the part 112989000090, broke in several places. First the connector on one side that holds the lid broke, then the handle came apart after the secound use. Then the 3rd connector to hold lid broke. Now if we use the device, it looks like the Fred Green Show with all the duct tape holding everything together. I contacted you people to get a repplacement part, and was directed to several repair depots, in my area. They told me that the part is no longer available. Do i have to throw my oster food processor away, and purchase a KitchenAid product or will you be able to help me?

SOURCE: I need a replacement bowl for the Oster 3212 Food Processor

I contacted the manufacturer and bought the bowl. This is frustrating as I had contacted their authorized service center and was told the bowl was unavailable.

Fixya is not a buying service. Suggest you check with a local appliance parts supplier.

My Oster 3212 food processor will not turn on.

You have to make sure that both the bowl and the cover are locked into place. Sometimes if you wiggle it a bit, it will go into the right spot. Make sure that the outlet you are using works.

Need a lid for an oster 3200 food processor

The part number is: 112989-001-000
I searched bunerous sites for the part..... The first 7 sites say it was no longer available.

I finally found 1 site that makes sense and it does NOT say the part is no longer available :

http://70.47.98.140/prodinfo.asp?number=112989-001-000 (US only shipping)

I was leary of the way the URL looked but it appears ok. There is an 800 number on the linked page above that I recommend you call before placing an order on line. It also appears they are an official factory outlet company for Sunbean and Oster.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

Oster In2itive blender leaks

The three most common sources of leakage are a worn/damaged gasket, a cracked jar, or a cracked blade assembly - all of these parts are available from Oster. If you are still under warranty, they might even be able to send whichever part you need for free. Their phone number is 1-800-334-0759 (they are owned by Jarden Consumer Solutions nowadays).

Need food processor lid

The lid-lip on my small Braun processor broke too, damn things can't handle being accidentally dropped by a fumble-fingered me!

I still manage to work it, I just need to manually hold the broken bit in place (so the safety mechanism lets the motor start), or just use another long thin doodah, like a wooden kabob skewer, to depress the lever. Not elegant, and it means you have to use both hands at the same time (one to activate the pulse button, the other to hold the skewer in place), but it works.

Anyone had any luck supergluing the broken bit back on?
