Question about LG Shine KE970 Cellular Phone

1 Answer

Low Batter Alert

I'd like to turn off the sound the phone makes when the battery is low, without turning off all the sounds of the phone [if the phone is on silent, it won't make any sound].

Thanks!

Tip

How to mute the shutter sound in LG GD510(pop).

What you need* LG Utils (For backing up/restoring CUST)* Win Image (For editing CUST)* Drivers* Audacity + LAME Plugin (Check the website for details)
Follow the steps below :
1. Extract your CUST theme from your phone ( Find the theme guides for instructions on how to do it)
2. Open CUST in WinImage
3. Go to LG App > Media > Event Sounds
4. Locate the file "03 Shutter Sound 03.mp3" and right-click and choose extract. (This is the camera shutter)Locate the files "Low Battery.mp3" and "Low Battery-Louder.mp3" and extract. (Battery alert)
5. Keep WinImage open, then open up the files in audacity and select and delete the audio wave, then export > save as mp3. And save it as a .mp3 and with the same file name.
6. Back to WinImage, click Image > Inject and choose the files you just edited and choose "Yes" to replace them.
7. Put the new CUST image back on your phone using LG Utils (Find the guide in the tutorials section)
8. For the Camera Shutter, go into the camera and choose the settings icon. Then select shutter sound, and choose sound 3. Now when you take a picture, it will be silent!
For the low battery, wait till your battery gets low. Then when you get the low battery pop-up it should be silent.
Hope this helps!

Hi I have Samsung B2100 mobile phone. When I receive a message, the sound is so loud. Can you please tell me how to control the volume.

menu/settings/phone profiles, select profile, then choose options at the low left corner of display. Here, you can adjust type of sounds you want and its loudness. Navigate to the right with your central button and here you are navigating downwards: 1. - message alert type chooser, 2. - message alert tone, 3. - message alert repetition, 4. - email alert type, 5. - email alert tone, email alert repetition, and finaly, 6. - alert tone volume. To enter into the submenu, first click direct the central button, and then choose the volume with left or right part of your central button. I am not a perfect english speaker, therefore I hope I was clear enough making this explanation.

Why wont the alert for my text messaging go off i have the ringtone set but everytime i get a text message it doesnt do anything and i have the volume turned up on my phone and the alert for it is on

Do a battery pull by removing the battery, and make sure to give it time to completely boot up. If you are texting while you are receiving messages which is very common, sometimes it eliminates the sound while you are texting because it cannot render the sound while you are a sending a message. If thats not the case, then make sure to go to your sound settings and turn it completely up, if that doesn't work try to apply a different alert ringer for it.
