Im not sure because Pentium D is quite old but is still an LGA 775 CPU. I have 20% chance that it will work.
Why do you want to change to Core 2 Duo anyway? Its not gonna benefit you much except maybe a bit more speed in GHz and a bit more Chache.
If you want to you can download CPU-Z to identify your CPU.
Run the utility and go to the "about" tab and dump to text file (press the button at the bottom)
Copy the things to do with the CPU and reply. Then ill have a look.
