I don't know if you found the part number yet, but it is called a "Pawl" part # 1136-2528-01 . Good Luck finding it.. I believe it is the same part in some other models made around the same time.

Broken gears in reduction drive transmission. Are these serviceable.May I aquire parts listing and repair information.

It would help if you mention the brand and model of your chainsaw. Reduction drive transmission? Not so sure but if you are talking about the chain drive gear that is connected to your clutch drum, then yes, it is serviceable. Most common wear is in the middle part across the gear teeth. Overuse, hitting hard objects (i.e. rocks, concrete etc), and lack of bar and chain oil all contribute to the wear.
Clutch drum/gear drive replacement range from $45-112 depending on the brand and model of your unit. Labor is so-so about $35, well we have a .5 hour minimum. Then again, what you intend to say about reduction drive transmission might be different from what I have in mind. I just mentioned the clutch drum/gear unit because it just so happens to be very common on commercially operated chainsaws - most likely to cause distress to the owner since it renders the saw inoperable and not so obvious whether worth servicing or not.

Hi. we have a Sharp AL-1631 copier. It recently has been making a fairly loud + fast clicking sound upon startup and usually wrinkles up the first page through. It seems like the white plastic spring...

Wrinking usually is caused by the fusing unit. This is the part that gets hot and "fuses" the toner onto the page. I doubt that the cartridges are the issue. If you were getting binding or gears popping in the cartridge then your copy quality would be severely affected. Fuser drive gear failure is common on these models. Also if the noise is inconsistent then your right side mounting screw may be loose. Look at the fuser assembly behind the right side door. It is black in color and has the little green tab on the lever that has all the teeth on it. Looks like this:

Once you have the fusing unit located then look on either side of the unit. There is 1 screw on each side. Make sure they are tight. Especially the right side as that is where the drive comes from and is under the most pressure. If the noise happens all the time then you may have a broken or damaged drive gear on the fusing unit (upper fusing roller drive gear) or the small gear on the machine that drives the fusing unit. You can remove the right side screw and pull the fuser out enough to look at the gears.
Good luck and thank you for using Fixya.

What is error code 2200 on Kyrocera fs-4000dn

The drum unit is jammed. The waste toner gear is jammed from waste toner hardening. Best solution replace drum unit other wise you will have to pull up the unit and clean unit thouroughly.
Usually this problem occurs if unit is used over 300,000 prints.

My printer keeps jamming. I have replaced the

The most common cause for jamming every copy on this model is a broken fuser drive gear. If you open the right side door you have a gate that flips open with a bunch of "teeth" on it. This gate is part of the fusing unit. If the paper always stops in this area when entering the fuser it is a broken drive gear. Your Xerox is made by Sharp. The part number for the gear is NGERH0540FCZ3
Perhaps you can find a local repair person who can replace it for you.
Good Luck

My printer dont work. On screen appear Error Code # L4-02

L4-02 is a drum motor lock detection.

One cause that we have found on these particular models is the waste toner auger (built in the drum unit) drive gear breaks due to blockage or failure of the auger. You can remove the drum unit by 1st removing the toner then developer tank then a blue screw will loosen the drum unit. Once out look at the back of the drum unit and you will see 3 little white gears. Check for damage or missing gears. If they are you will need a new drum unit. Please contact your local Sharp dealer for OEM replacement.
