We've want to install a Tru Serenity music on hold module to our Siemens Hipath 3350, will we need to buy any additional adapters for the hipath system or is it easy to just plug in?

Also a Line Isolation Unit (LIU), in line with the music source. This device is like a surge protector for your phone system against whatever dubious music source is used.

It requires an external MOH adapter. P/N is either 20145 or 21514.

Hi, I have a Hipath 3550, most of the extension have dial tone but when making a call, you can hear the receiving person but he cannot hear me. This is just the internal calling.

some place is a wire that hates you or software designed for ignorance Get a grip on it and solve it yourself, or start a riot. no more comment on thin questions if you cannot have MFG CU SPRT.

How can i have music in hold time ?

There are several ways to have music-on-hold for your telephone line(s). 1st you need to have a source of music such as a radio that has an output connection to feed the radio signal to the tele system, or a recorded music player that also has this output connection, or you can subscribe to Muzak (www.muzak.com) a company located in South Carolina that provides this type of service. 2nd, you need a telephone that has the input connection to allow this music source to be connected to the tele system, or you can buy a music-on-hold adapter that will feed your music source into the tele system regardless of the type of phone you have (as long as the phone has "on hold button", or if you choose Muzak, they will provide this aparatus adapter to you. Check the manual that comes with your phone to see if it has this music input feature; I'm not 100% sure of your model without further research, but I feel that the phone most likely does not have this feature. An adapter unit can be found at Radio Shack, or some AT&T telephone stores or on the internet. Good luck, Macgivor.

Can i put mp3 music ?

This is an incomplete question, but since I'm heading out the door, I'll take a stab at it.

Strictly, no. You have to answer the phone before you can put MUSIC ON HOLD. The "you" doesn't have to be a human.

However, the last whiney "buy our MOH player or else" sales alert said that we, as phone system sellers "could be" liable if we aid a cutomer in putting illegal music on his system. Yeah. I'll lie awake at night thinking about that one :-)

Your Panasonic cabinet has a MOH port for music. It takes a standard 1/8" mono plug from a music source headphone jack.
In addition, there's system programming that needs to be done to turn it on for hold. In a TA-824 it's program 111. The 824 also has a DISA card that could be the first answer point.

Comment back if you need other instructions.

Panasonic KX-T7731 phone cuts off/mutes on hold music

My guess is that you have a KXT-624 or 824 system.Follow the instuctions here: http://www.onholdplus.com/products/7000series_connect1.html

Then, if you get lucky, when you go to any system phone and press "1" without picking up the handset, the music will play.

If it doesn't and you don't get MOH, you may have to do some programming in system program 111.
