I recently bought a second-hand but virtually unused HTC TyTNII. It works a treat and I am delighted with it. There was a Tom-tom SatNav system on CD which I installed then I downloaded one free map. I found that it cost so much just downloading that I removed it with the add/remove in Tools on the active sync. Since then I keep getting "connection Error - error in the database". But there are still references to Tom-tom and map on the devise and I constantly get this message. The data collection sign in the Comm Manager is not working. Is this a problem? I do not want to do a hard reset or I will lose all my Orange settings (I am Pay as you Go). Soft reset does not fix.
