Yes the modem is independant of what computer it's on ....... unless in the modem it's self you have set up some of the security features like Mac filtering etc then it would have to be added, but as far as it working with your new computer it should be just fine if it's not let me know and i will assist you in connecting it.
The modem is most likely set up as dhcp so when you connect your new computer it will give it the required setting to connect.

Transcent JFV30 Pendrive Driver

Hi,

There are no drivers required to detect and access a flashdrive or even a Transcend PenDrive JFV30 under Windows XP or Vista. They are however needed for other Operating System such as Windows 98. Should this be the case, the drivers may be found here. If under XP or Vista, the pendrive could not be accessed/detected, then it is not the pendrive's drivers (or lack thereof) that should be the concern, it is the USB interface/drivers of the PC. Vista has been known to have major issues with USB and has issued a patch/upgrade/update here. XP SP1 has its own issues and the Microsoft patch/upgrade/update is here.

Hope this be of help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

good luck and kind regards.

Installation on windows vista program

Who makes the ez305 web cam. Look @ the website of the producer if they have a driver your in. But if they don't and vista won't install a generic driver it won't work. Vista will make a lot of hardware obsolete just like xp for hardware that works with windows 98.

New LCD ACER 17

It sounds like it is a settings issue in Windows, you should be able to fix it by following this order:
Go to your Start Menu>Control Panel>Display>Settings>Advanced

Click on: "GEForce Go XXXX" and on nView Display Mode change from Single Display to either "Clone" or "Dualview"

Than click apply and that should fix your problem.

If that doesn't work, than download the Acer Driver with the for Windows XP if your monitor is certified for vista.

This is a common issue with vista,
Hope this helps!

I.P Adress

your ip is provided by your ISP (internet service provider), if you have two accounts (two modems) then you probably have two ip numbers and if you use one account, even you have ten computers connected to the same modem, will be the same ip but shared.

hope it helps.

Software for windows xp

Hi, your quite right that the original Fenton software doesn't work with and in XP. Since the reason for the software is simply to monitor certain conditions of the UPS and timer auto shutdown then running the computer plugged to the UPS even without the software would still make the UPS work. Of course this will only hold true if you are using the PC like a regular unit and not as an unattended computer. More information maybe gleamed from their website (http://www.fentonups.com/Support___Service/H___S_FAQ_s/h___s_faq_s.html#Operating-Systems). Hope this be of some help to you and pls post again how things turn up.
