Sorry dont have a parts book handy.. but blown fuses usally means a big part with a heatsink behind it has shorted.

call a wholesale electronics parts house close to you and they might have it or can cross it to a stronger generic.

How many amps is the fuse that is located on the back of the TV near the power cord. It says T5AL/125 or 250 v. f800

Something else is going on to cause the fuse to keep blowing. Sounds like you have an issue on your power supply in the unit. Also check the outlet that your plugging it in to. Good luck!

I have a Vizio Model P50HDTV10a and it suddenly went dead. Their is no led nothing. Its a year and 4 months old.

Is the tv still under warranty? possibly a blown fuse if you don't get anything at all, you could inspect the power area, but be aware there are dangerous voltages inside.

Hi i have panasonic Veira model TH-42PX70A my tv has stopped working i have no sound and no picture. when turn on the standby button flashes red. If try to turn on from standby mode the green light appears...

Hello this may be a power supply problem, but my professional guess is that your Y-Substain board has failed. Count the number of times the red light flashes, this indicates the reason of failure of the unit. After which check ur user manual for troubleshooting section, your manual may give you a listing of the number of blinks and what they mean. If you want take off the back and check the fuses on the power supply if one is blown then replace the power supply as just replacing the fuse will just blow it again. If no fuse are blown then have a technician replace teh Y_Substain Board.

37" polaroid lcd tv will not turn on

first try to follow the automatic reset method by unplugging all the wires from the electrical outlet whic connects the tv such as the power cord ,the dvd player or any other devices connected to the tv externally .then plug it after sometime and ON the tv. if the tv doesnot work try this. its the problem in the capacitors and the--- ics--- on the main power supply boards.as some of the caoacitors and --ics--- are blowned out or bulged up on the board and not supporting the tv to start normally.so please check the board and get the faulty one replaced and also check for the blowned out fuses on the power supply board.as the blown fuses can also cause this problem.

The part number is 6LM00220G0 and is priced at $80.54 at circuit city repair. It is easy to install once you remove the cover from the back of the TV and the housing for the power supply.

Had the exact problem on 11/14/06. Ordered a power supply board, which was $300+, got it in and when I went to replace the part, found that the old part had a blown fuse (a lot cheaper). Of course if I had put in the new part it would have fixed it also. CHECK THE FUSES IN THE MIDDLE CIRCUIT BOARD (there are 3 boards).
