Hi,

More than likely there has been water or moisture leaking inside the unit that is shorting the power out.

Or the heating element insulation has failed which is shoting to earth and you require a new element fitted to rectify the problem.

These machines have a bad valve in them that leaks water down to the air pump and power supply. It may be that the water has corroded the power supply. Call Keurig and request a new machine be sent to you in exchange for the K-cup insert. (The one with the needle in it.)

Coffee maker will not turn on. Just stop working.

Hello,
if it does not power up, then it means its having a power problem. it might have worked fine in the past, but that's electronics for you. Power surge, irregular power supply, excess power supply, etc can affect the unit thereby not making it to power on.
This unit must have a power supply board in it where power enters from the mains. A capacitor, fuse, diode, etc may have been defective on the power board and maybe that's why its not making the unit turn on. There might also be some disconnection or something, inside the unit which is not making it to power on.
To actually find out what's wrong, you need to disassemble the unit with a screw driver and check what's wrong. You will be needing a meter in order to test the components on the power board, once you detect any bad component, you can make necessary replacement at any electronics accessories store withing our vicinity. This is the only way by which you can detect the problem.
Of course, testing the power board with a meter will require someone that has the ability. So it you can't, then you might be needing the help of a repairman or you can call a friend that has the ability to help you out.
I wish you the best of luck.
Regards.

When we turn on the machine it cut the power in the house

It is possible that the element in the machine is damaged, that is the only thing that will cause that kind of damage.

2. remove any power supply from the dispenser including remove out the plug from the main power supply

4. turn it on again....

LA PAVONI PISA

Ah ha! I just fixed the problem.

The black steam knob is bonded to the shaft. The shaft/knob assembly is removed by rotating the spring keeper on the brass housing the shaft fits into by 90 degrees to allow the shaft to be pulled out once the knob is rotated enough to disengage its thread from the brass housing.

Once the cover over the boiler is removed you will see three thermostats mounted on top of the boiler.

The middle one has the reset button located between the two power connectors. Push it down and you will hear a metallic snap as it resets.

I now have a working La Pavoni Pisa Espresso Machine again and it was free to fix it!

Wooo Hooo!!!

check inside for burnt spade connectors or wires burnt off the connectors. spade connectors can be gotten from radio shack or electrical supply houses or home depot.
