Keyboard Letters are jumping during any writing in Internet or email

Dear Sir,

I am facing trouble in solving these problem, one of my friend having MS Win Xp 2002 home edition and IE 7.0, facing issue of writing anything, inbetween the words goes upand down , like someone moving her mouse without touching.

So far I had checked her system personally on Remote, did not find any problem with keyboard, I also make change with the new keyboard but no luck. Could you guide me what to do next.

It is a home Desktop PC, brand emachines, mouse used is Ball type and keyboard of Logitech (simple PS/2 connector)

I observe during the remote session, any program even MS Word used the word and lines are jumbling. Making difficult to write.

So advise me how can I fix this issue.

Many Thanks In advance to view the case.

Yes even the keyboard and mouse changed. Now I will find if anything wrong going with the softwares. As upto now, I had uninstall Service Pack 3, roll Back IE, Installed AVG 8.0 & Google Chrome.

FYI: I got it fixed, it was the bad mouse.. since mouse already changed was mentioned to me.. So I pointed out after a long troubleshooting work.. then she said.. yes it is ball type and after getting replaced it with a new brand Optical the things gone work.

Well I have never seen that kind of a problem, if all the hardware is ok, it must be software problem, virus possibly? a fresh install would be a sure fire fix.

If text changes when you type, it is either the keyboard or the program to which you are addressing your data to. If you use a word processing program, go to that program, open it and type a message. If that message is exactly as you want, no errors, etc; then the keyboard is fine. You may try and write some material in a word processing program and do a COPY of that data and Paste it into an email message to see if the content is exactly the as you typed it. If it changes, then your Email or Internet application is defective.

Hi i have windos xp but having troubles to open word and exale also very slow while typing the letters take time to show on the screen. also i can,t write under score to write my email i just copied it ...

Your computer either is "busy" running other programs (BearShare? WinAmp? virus-scan?).
So, Word is running slowly, as it "competes" with those programs.

Close all Internet Explorer windows -- any "animation" on web-pages consumes your computer's resources.

How much RAM in your computer? If you have less than 320MB of RAM, you should add some RAM, to make Windows run better.

Disconnect from the Internet, to see if doing-so causes those "other" programs to go "quiet".

Run a virus-scan, to see if a computer-virus is messing-up your computer.

Try accessing your email in another computer. If you can't access it in another computer then maybe you have too many emails in your inbox.

When I type, the letters jump backward to another word

Is this always the case or does a reboot solve the issue? You may want to check and see if there is a driver update for the keyboard / mouse. Make sure you rule that out first.

Internet explorer facing error message of send to microsoft

try downloading and installing this update from microsoft:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=2996b9b6-03ff-4636-861a-46b3eac7a305&displaylang=en

Afterwards, reboot, and try your browser; if it still does the same thing (doesnt matter if it is firefox or IE) write back and we can go thru your anti-virus and anti-spyware programs.
Another note...Firefox 3 is available from Mozilla, here is that link:

also, have you checked for critical updates for XP from Microsoft?
