Question about Televison & Video
I have a Hitachi 53uwx10ba HDTV and I was checking the convergence board for any cracks or broken soder and placed it back in and hooked it back up. When i powered it back on and hit the magic focus buton on the front i get a bunch of crosshairs all misaligned and the screen just freezes. Also i have a fuzzy blank area about 2-3 inches thick in a L shape in the upper right hand corner of the screen. do i need to do a manual convergence b/f the magic focus will realign right or is it that the convergence board is shot in general and if so where is the cheapest place to find one.
You have a sensor problem to start magic focus is the last step in this repair done normally after replace converge outputs did you do this? if so a manual alignment is needed then you may write it into memory if you get a solid green screen after just briefly you have done it wright if you get a red screen after wards you need to try again it will stop on red if all is not well
