ITAP issues So my iTAP used to be predictive like it is supposed to do and then it quite so annoying things like when i try and type "ok" ita types Ml instead and i dont know how to get it back the the predictive kind of typing.

Sounds like the unit is in Predictive mode; something that you might find as a texting feature on a cell phone. Predictive figures out what you might be texting and inserts it. I find it quite annoying. You may have to see if this is available in your unit.

Hello there, the iTap feature is a the mobile phone dictionary feature which helps to spell the words which are located on your phone dictionary. This feature functions when you try to type a text message and it helps to spell the words by the use of a single tap on each key.
To exit iTap mode you simply press the middle button then select entry setup to bring up the menu for that screen selection and from there you can switch between iTap mode on or Off.
Also you can use the # button to switch between modes. To understand this better here is a link to the phone user guide Details on iTap can be found on page 40.

Go to messages, new message, go to the menu(middle button) select entry options/method/settings, go to primary and select TAP English, go to Secondary and select None.
Text-Entry Methods:
iTAP - Lets you enter words using one key press per letter. The iTAP® method combines your key presses into common words and predicts each word as you enter it.
TAP - Lets you enter letters and numbers by pressing a key repeatedly to cycle through the letters and number on that particular key.
TAP Extended - Same as TAP, but cycles through additional special characters and symbols as you repeatedly press a key.
Text-Entry Modes:
Primary - You can set your Primary entry mode to any iTAP or TAP entry method.
Secondary – You can set your Secondary entry mode to any iTAP or Tap entry method, or you can set it to None if you do not want a Secondary entry mode.
Numeric - Enter numbers by pressing the number keys.
Symbol - Enter symbols by pressing a key; its symbols are displayed at the bottom of the screen. Scroll to the desired symbol and then press Select.
To set the text-entry mode or method:

• From a text-entry screen, press Options.
• Scroll to and select Entry Setup or Text Setup.
• Select the desired text-entry mode or method.

Tip: From any text entry-screen, you can quickly change your text-entry mode without leaving that screen. Press the # key repeatedly to cycle through the text-entry modes: Primary, Secondary, Numeric, and Symbol. With each press of the # key, the mode indicator in the upper left of the text-entry screen changes.

While in the message screen, press the Menu key and then selectan " Entry Method "to switch among modes. Predictive text is iTAP.. so pick a different entry mode then itap

try a master reset if that does not work you can try flashing the firmware back into the phone.

that is how it works....ITap Predictive but if you are not comfortable with it then go back using english texting option.

it could be a software issue

go to your messages... then choose message setting... look for default text input and just choose iTap (i think???) just play around with your message setting...

have you tried to change the TEXT T9 from iTap to just ENGLISH

Go to Messages -->Create-->SMS/EMS-->the message multiline appears . Now press the round button this will take you to message editor. Now go to Entry set up . In the Primary setup press the iTAP english and in the secondary set up select TAP English....This will work ........if you still have problem contact me
