Hi,

Have a look to make sure that the pump and drain hose are unblocked. If they are, you might have to call Asko and arrange a service call.

Good luck!

Asko D3122 WAX MOTOR

Can plug in either way. If was meant only one way, the plug would have a blocking protrusion on one side. Plus the motor will run only one direction no matter which side is the hot side of the wires. As long as is getting power, it will work.

What does F2 mean

Hello, Welcome to FixYa. To answer your question..."What does F2 mean ?", the good news...It is likely nothing very serious, but the "resolve" requires some investigation on your part. F2 means the control has indicated a overfill. This is meaning the overfill switch is indicating an overfill has been detected. Whether the unit has actually overfilled or not remains to be seen. It may in fact have been caused by a long drain or backed up drain. I'm presently on my iphone so I can't post the pertinent info to resolve the error directly, however if you copy and paste this link to your browser all the info will be there and it will apply to your model Asko as well. http://www.fixya.com/support/t7832382-f2_mean Either that or visit my profile page and you'll see other post relating to the Asko F2 error, its meaning and remedy. Hope this helps, let me know and good luck. Regards, Macmarkus :)

The machine has activated the 'overfilling protection' mode. does a manual cover this?

Yes. Read the owner's manual.
Overfilling protection means the dishwasher is going to turn off the water in a set length of time if it does not sense how full the tub is. A slow water fill speed could cause this.
This means the dishwasher may not be able to detect the water level.
Inside the dish washer, when empty of water, to the left or right front at the bottom, is a little dome or cover. Gently lift this dome up and set it down. There should be a soft 'click' each time you set the dome back down. If there is no click, it means the water level switch is broken. If the clicks are not every time, the switch is failing. A water level switch is easy for a handman to change (most of the time). ** Turn off the circuit breaker for the dishwasher before service!!!

The machine has activated a safty seq. There is most likely water on the lower buttom. Leakage or drain pipe blocked. The power will get to the drain pump, when this happends. To prevent overflow on your kitchen floor. Dry out the water. Then it will start as usual.

ASKO 1385 not filling after overfill protection was turned on

If when turned on the dishwasher sounds like it is running the drain pump, and does this in any cycle setting, it is possible that the drain pan below the unit has filled with water. Check this post for more details.

Asko D3122 dishwasher will not fill with water and will not turn off

you may have water under the dishwaher ... have any plumbing work done lately?

if the dishwaher overflows or leaks it will trip a float switch under the dishwasher... as long as it is triped it will run the drain pump.. and not let any water into the tub...

the water will have to be removed and the leak stopped before it will run a cycle....

Hope this helps if not let me know more about your problem..

Overfill Protection tripped on ASKO D3112 dishwasher

Remove the backpanel of the machine, and look if there is water at the bottom of the machine. If so, use a towel or so to dry up the water. This should solve the prob.

Overfill protection tripping

Is there water in the drip pan? My asko developed a leaky inlet solenoid, which would fill the drip pan eventually causing a failure. If the water evaporated, the washer would run. Normally, there should be no water in the drip pan.
