Question about Toshiba Satellite A45-S151 Notebook
You can get the WEP from the wireless accesspoint or the wireless router. It's a 10 digit code usually seen on the wireless settigs on the setup page on the routerr. To access the setup page of the router you must be on a computer tht is directly connected to it.
step 1. Find the default gateway. start>run> type cmd and click ok. on the black screen (command prompt) type ipconfig. You should find a default gateway there.
step 2. open a browser like internet explorer. On the address bar type http:// then the default gateway. example: http://192.168.1.1
step 3. It may require you to enter the username and password for the router/accesspoint. Usually it's on the owner's manual.
step 4. Once you're in locate the wireless settings. Usually it's a tab at the top or left of the page. you should see your WEP there.
