Question about Acer Aspire SA20 PC Desktop
I have replaced the otherboard on my Acer Aspier sa85 right with this one
MSI 945GCM7-F 945GC LGA775 CORE2DUO FSB1333 2xDDR2 667 4xSATAII MATX
got new RAM for this obviuosly, now it starts and stops again, then replaced PSU with 550W new one. It goes for longer now but stil will shut down after i start to use any programs (sometime last longer than other times) generally if i leave it on wth no programs running it will stay on for ages.
I think its getting too hot, so i out in case fan and replace thermal gel, still having same issues???
What the hell is going on, all anyone can tell me is its getting too hot?
Check your motherboard manual to see the voltage suppied to the new RAM. Check the Ram specifications and note the required voltage for it to operate correctly. In a lot of cases the motherboard will not supply enough power all the time and can cause shut-downs and restarts.
If the RAM need more voltage than the motherboard supplies, replace it with RAM From the qualified vendors in the memory section of your motherboard manual.
