If you water tank is leaking from the bottom, I have seen that it can damage the flow meter which is located below the water tank. In this case the machine does not heat up or work at all. The repair is to replace the flow meter and repair the leak.

This Livia 90 has been working beautifully for the last 5 years. Suddenly, the water does not heat up. The needle on the temperature gage reaches the point just before the red marking and then gradually...

Hi
If you open the steam knob before you turn the machine on and it heats up normaly, you need to replace the vacuum breaker valve on top of the boiler. Its the 3/4 hex nut with the little brass pin in the center. If its is stuck closed when the machine is turned off, its holds pressure in the boiler, so when you turn the machine on again it starts to heat up but reaches pressure fast and turns the element off before it heats up all the way.

Hi
If they are blinking slowly check this. Check the wire on the water reservoir to make sure that it is connected. You can try grounding this wire and see if the machine responds.
Water level may be low in the reservoir. Are you using distilled water or reverse osmosis water. Don’t. The computer can’t tell if have water in the reservoir, because it need’s minerals to conduct the small current for the computer. If they are blinking fast you may need a new computer.

Descaling the livia 90

The proper and only way to descale the boiler should only be done by a trained technician. As far removing the water tank goes, you simply lift it up from the left and right hand sides - this may be difficult if you have never removed it since calcium may have built up on the seal at the bottom of the reservoir - simply wiggle it side to side to remove. To clean the reservoir, you can use a green scour pad with water. If it is heavy build up you can use a product called CLR, and let sit overnight. You can save the CLR and reuse. Rinse well to remove all clr.

Remove the shower screen and make sure it is clear, then remove the screws on the top panel, If after checking screen problem still occurs, find the tube that leads to the head and make sure it is not blocked.

Tooo much pressure

If you remove the top panel on the machine there is a pressure stat on the right side, with 2 wire connections going to it. That P.stat could be damaged and needs to be replaced, or the pipe to the P.stat is clogged and it cannot read the boiler pressure.

Livia 90 Semi Automatic pump won't shut off during shot

Bansheracer is possibly correct. But, most likely the problem is the copper feed pipe to the boiler is plugged with calcium allowing the pump to continuously run without stopping. Most likely this is a problem you will need to have serviced. We are located in orange county, CA, and we can service, or Pasquini can service at 1501 West Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles 90015. If you are not in CA, let us know where you are located so we can send you to the closest authorized pasquini service center near you.

Pasquini Livia 90 - No water from the group head

The problem could be calcium built up blocking the jet and stopping the flow of water through your 3 way solenoid valve.
Otherwise the 3 way solenoid has stopped working. The 3 way valve part #91004 is $105 + shipping.

If you capable of removing the top and 3 body side of the machine, you can contact me and I can walk you through diagnosing if this is the problem with the jet or the valve. Before you call, make sure you have a philips screwdriver, 14 and 15mm open ended wrench or crescent wrench, flashlight, and paper clip.

Not building pressue

Water damage to the flow meter can cause the machine to not function at all. We have seen water leaking from the water tank leaks right on the flow meter and stops the machine from heating and contining its start up proceedure.
