Hello. You need to enter the WEP code that is set on your router. to ind that go to your PC and open Explorer or whatever you may use. Type in the address bar 192.168.1.1 and enter your router then click on wireless settings and the WEP code should be on the page. Hope this helps. Good luck and happy gaming!!

My ssid says my Security says not supported .

WEP and WPA are the only types of Wireless Security supported on the PSP. If you have WEP2 or anything else on your wireless network, the PSP will not support it. You can change your wireless router's security to WEP if you want the PSP to connect to it.

Check the following page at Sony for more information:

http://us.playstation.com/support/answer/?a_id=24

Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) and Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) are security encryption protocols to provide secure wireless (Wi-Fi). These are common on most wireless access points available. You will need to contact the manufacturer of your wireless access point to determine which will work best for you when setting up your wireless network. Both of these protocols are supported by the PSP system and you will need to choose which protocol your wireless network has been configured with in order for the PSP to connect to your network.

Unable to connect my psp to internet via bt home hub

You may have a connection problem with your wi-fi if it is not set up properly. Otherwise the wi-fi module in the psp itself may have gone out.

T my WEP key is there a way I can find it

Hi!

WEP consists of 10 number and letters and is usually under your Wi-Fi (wireless) router...enter that code into ur PSP and it will grant u access to the internet.

Or type 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1(which ever your router has set to access it) into your web browser and your loginour password is usually admin and Password is usually blank (as in don't type anything in it) for your router will pop up from there you can find your wep key or you can turn the wep off so your psp will not need a wep key.

Please rate this solution.

Thanks
Rylee

Usually when you connect to Wifi, you automatically get a connection code. You do not usually need a code to connect... Something may be wrong with your DS's connection.

WEP or WPA are the abbreviations of Wired Equivalent Privacy and Wi-Fi Protected Aaccess. These are similar to password to access to people wireless network. You should have one if you've got internet and wireless network in your house. You can paid T-mobil for Wi-Fi fee ($20.-/mo) and they will give you thru' your T-mobil phone, and you can use your PSP with new WEP or WPA at any WI-FI spots like Starbuck, Barn & Noble....

I hope it heps.
