Powering on Hi I was installing my new Pioneer AVIC-F900BT and the power was working fine. Once complete I try to turn back on and I am not receiving any power. Any suggestions, I have checked fuses and wires are all connected.

Please check if the power adapter is giving voltage output. You can try using a different power adapter.

I installed the Pioneer AVIC-F900BT and it has been

Windows CE is used to operate the Pioneer AVIC F series, which yours falls into. That version of Windows has not been patched or updated with the new day light savings times and since the player uses GPS to get the current time and Windows to make the time change for your zone then your time will not update until the orginal daylight savings time occurs. You can try to change the time to manual in the Pioneer settings, deal with the wrong time for just a lil bit longer until the original Daylight Savings Time takes place, or re-search an update and way to update the players OS which is Windows CE. Hope this helps :)

HTC diamond phonebook to Pioneer F900BT

Hi there,

send the vcard to a bluetouth device.
it will then send that one contact over.
if you then press ok on the avic, it will try to sync the entire phonebook (up to 400 items)

Greets,

Dear Sir I installed a pioneer avic-f900bt as instructed in the manuals. When I m parked the unit works ok but as soon as i drive it starts switching off and on again.I did install the handbrake wire too.

I believe this is a safety problem to prevent distractions to the driver since this unit is installed in eye sight of the driver. Parked position is fine because the parking brake is on signifying you are stopped. Once moving it should turn off multimedia functionality. Try grounding your parking brake cable to think it is always on :)

Can I install new maps on Pioneer F900BT

you can with pioneers new software available to download on their website, please find the link below, its called NavGate Feeds:

http://www.pioneer.co.uk/uk/content/support/support/upgrade/AVIC_F900BT_F700BT.html

you can view all the history from locations u've been, the roads you travelled down and also use Google maps to locate and plan new routes then upload back to the USB / SD Card and load them into the sat nav!

You can even manage the settings throught this application as well.

Hope this helps
