Whirlpool -ghw9100lw1 wont start sicle

Press CONTROL and START buttons. No response or error message. No door click. Door is latched. May have damaged something trying to stuff a large comforter in the machine

Wont start machine error come up

Door open error code can also be displayed as "dOE" On non-display panel models this fault code is denoted by the light for the door lock being lit or flashing.
  • Check door is closed correctly and latched
  • Check door handle for damage or wear
  • Check door safety lock if inoperative replace door lock
  • Check door lock wiring
  • If there is a clicking sound once or twice when the Start/Pause button is pressed the main control board may be faulty

You will need to replace the lid latch assembly. The control is not getting the proper response from the latch. Here is the part to order.

  1. Disconnect power from unit.
  2. Check wires and connectors from control to door switch, then from door
    switch to control. If no damage to wires and all connectors okay, proceed to
    step C.
  3. Replace door switch.
  4. Re-apply power.
  5. Press and hold any key down for 1 minute to clear F5 failure code from
    memory. F2 will appear. Press CANCEL and observe for 1 minute to ensure
    operation is correct.

2. If door not latched:


  1. Disconnect power from unit.
  2. Check wires and connectors from control to latch switch, then from latch
    switch to control. If no damage to wires and all connectors okay, proceed to
    step C.
  3. Repeat steps A and B for door switch.

3. Measure door switch (door open = switch open small low voltage terminals).
Replace switch if defective.
4. Measure latch switch (unlatch = switch open,
CAUTION - oven light contacts are closed). Replace switch if defective.
5. If
corrections are made in any step, reconnect power to control. Press and hold any
key for 1 minute to clear R failure code from memory. F2 will appear. Press
CANCEL and observe for 1 minute to ensure operation is correct.
6. If failure
remains, disconnect power and replace control.

Whirlpool Duet Ht Problem: Code F22 / Door locked I have unplugged the machine for a 1/2hr and still doing the same thing...

Hi

To unlock the door press RINSE HOLD to manually terminate the cycle. If this doesn't unlock then unplug the washer and try this 1-2 times.
Alternatively try holding the start button to check whether you are getting any error message. If there is no error message then you would need to replace the door latch or check the wiring to the door latch.
To manually unlock the panel first you'll have to Unplug the Washer from the power outlet. Now, remove the lower toe panel. Look for the bottom of the door latch assembly from inside the washer. Check for a tear-drop shaped tab and pull the tab until click is heard, door will now unlatch. Hope this helps... Please post back for further assistance.

HI.The Door switches do not agree (condition exists when door switch is closed indicating an open door, and latch switch is closed indicating a locked door)

F5 error on Whirlpool Accubake Range

Whirlpool gold start button flashing dishwasher won't start

press sani and heat back and fourth then after all lights light close door and hit start then wait about 3 minutes. worked for me
