Hi Grandma,

Sorry to hear of your trouble.

I would remove the ink carts, reseat the print head then reinstall the ink carts. Try printing again to see if things improve. If it does good. If not try the Kodak online team. 800 421 6699 They will help you get things working correctly.

Talk to you soon,

It sounds like your black (K) or Black/Yellow (KY) head needs to be replaced.
The problem appears to be in the top half of the black head.
Without knowing more (like what make/model the printer is) I can't help more than that.

Put in new ink and it still won't pick up the pink and maroon. When I print the red tones they look yellow cause these cartriges arn't being used. How do I get the printer to grab these colors. It won't...

You must perform the "clean head" utility.
Go to
[Start]
[Printers and Faxes]
right-click on your printer and select [Properties]
[Maintenance] tab
Clean print head or other maintenance utilities.
You may have to do this 2 or 3 times.

Epson SX 205 ink insn't low but is not printing yellow or green

Status monitor just show approximately, not real level. It might be yellow and cyan ink is out actually.Others, yellow and cyan nozzle may be clog. Check nozzle, do head cleaning. Check nozzle again.

Just changed ink everything is purpleish pink esp3 kodak printe

Hi,
Pink color usually indicates, color cartridge bad,
Try cleaning nozzles, head cleaner, alignment, calibration
Print off a test page,
If still bad, New cartridge, it's a bad one.

Hope this helps
Richard.

Calibration not working

When you place the calibration sheet on the scanner glass, make sure you put it with the blue arrow facing the yellow triangle on the scanner. (the page must be, obviously, facing down).

As with the red color issue goes, try replacing the color ink cartridge. If that does not work, contact kodak support to fix the problem (you can go to kodak.com/go/itg for troubleshooting steps)

Ink Cartridge

Some of Epson's cartridges went bad that way. It may be a bad cartridge. Get a new one, pull that one out and see what happens. If it works, call Epson for a refund. They had a class action suit for that type of thing, they lost and paid off. I would think they will help you right away.
