It doesnt work and shows unformatted card

If you're talking about an type SD card from a camera for instance, if this is the first time you've used the card you may need to format it. Insert the card and then click on start>my computer. When you see the card listed right click on the card and select 'format' from the menu. Depending on what you're using the card for you may need to do a specific type of format: FAT, FAT32, NTFS, etc.

If this isn't what you're talking about a little more info would be most helpful. :-)

Sd card format software

Start up a computer with Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7. Insert the SD card into an external memory card reader or into the computer's built in card reader. If it the first time a SD card has been inserted into the computer, Windows will recognize the SD card and automatically install drivers to read the memory card.

Go to the computer view by clicking on the windows start menu icon in the bottom right corner of the computer. In Windows 7 and Vista click "Computer". In Windows XP click "My Computer"

Right click on the SD drive under the computer heading. A dialog box with different options for the drive will appear. Click on "Format" to bring up the formatting dialog box.

Select the type of formatting (also known as file system format). In Windows XP or Vista there are several choices including FAT, FAT 32, and NTFS. In Windows 7 there is an added choice called exFAT formatting. This is an improved FAT formatting type with improved meta data capabilities. Choose the formatting type, name if the drive if desired, check or uncheck the "quick format" option, and press the "Start" button. When the SD card format is complete Windows will provide a notification.

It can not open even there are 325 pictures in memory card it shows (error cf)in my camera, and while connecting with computer shows empty another option apear (the disk in drive G is not formatted, Do you...

Unplug your camera from the computer. Restart the computer. Select a different USB port and insert the camera again after boot. See if you can access the media. If you can't. Try inserting the card into a card reader on a different machine. If you still can't read it, insert the camera into your computer and then go to a command prompt. Type chkdsk [letter]: /r

Where the letter is the letter assigned to the media.

I have sd card which when I inserted in card reader it is telling it is not formated what to do

If there is data/photos on the card you need to save. Try downloading them with the card in the camera via the USB cable first. this will save your data. Then try formating the card either on the camera or your PC. Sometimes the cards get corupt and it is cheaper to replace them in the long term as this may happen again.

This could have happened by removing the card while the camera was on or by not using the card eject mode on your PC.

Windows won't read SCHC card

If you're using the SDHC card with a mobile phone or a portable media player, chances are that, the device would have formatted the card to its requirements, which renders it non-readable under windows. To view the contents of the card, you'll need to insert it into the device and connect the device to your PC.

Acer 5920 does not work with sandisc 1gb memory card

Your Minolta camera uses file format, which is not recognized by PC and vice verse. When you insert, PC can't read it, and asks to format. But when it is formatted for PC, your camera can't read it. Try to format it in camera, if it's not possible, then get a new memory card and use USB cable to copy images.
