How do I 'unwrite protect' camera?

Take your memory card out of the camera and switch the position of the "lock" tab. One position is for "locked" (i.e., "Write Protected") and the other position will allow the card to be written to (unlocked). Some cameras have image protection built into the on-camera software and you may need to configure this there.

1. Turn off your camera.

2. Remove your memory card.

3. Switch the position of memory card.

4. Install the memory card to its own place.

5. Turn on the camera.

Unwrite protect sd card

SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

There is a switch that says Lock on the side of the SD card adapter. Switch the Lock off and it will not be write protected anymore.

Hi there

You flash disk is write protected and you cannot delete or add new file from the flash disc. Just click right mouse and choose the program each text. One of those is the tools to unwrite protect the flash disk or if there is pop up software in your computer that use to write protect the flash disc.

It has password protection. Open My Computer on your PC, insert the USB drive, open the password file, enter your password, then select the option to remove password protection from the USB drive. If this does not work, contact Verbatim for a solution, these USB flash drives have lifetime warranties.

Memory card write protect?

i had same problem..couldn't solve it with tape over the lock switch and many other ways.. so i purchased a usb card reader (about $5 max) and now it works fine!...just make sure the lock is off!
