Question about Whirlpool GU2400XTP Built-in Dishwasher
Dishwasher fills and i hear the motor wanting to run (buzzing of motor) but it doesn't start spraying. since i hear the motor does this mean that it's probably jammed and not seized? Can i clear it myself? I'm not an appliance repairman but am mechanically inclined.
First I would check the chopper it maybe jammed or something blocking it...
1) remove wash arm holding the center and rotate the arm.
2) remove upper wash tube rotate to the right
3) remove screen screws to remove screen
4) pull up accumulator
5) reomve screw on chopper cover...
6) check chopper
7) if chopper clear .. you will need to replace motor
to replace motor
1) remove toe cover
2)remove drain pump
3) remove 3 hold tabs by sliding them out.
4) lift out accumulator base.
5 remove and replace motor.
