You can uninstall SP3 and see if its working. In case its working and you also want to install SP3 then first uninstall the software of your camcorder from the computer. Install SP3. restart your computer and then reinstall the software for your camcorder

I have a JVC GZ_MG20U hard disk camcorder. I need to know where I can download the drivers to my computer so I can down load my pictures and video. The JVC web site stoped suppling free drivers for reasons...

You should be able to see this camcorder as a drive (a disk) when you connect it to your computer.
Depending on the number of drives you have on your machine, it may show up as drive E:, assuming you only have a C: and a D: drives.
Or it may be F:, G:, H:, etc.

Using your Windows Explorer (NOT Internet Explorer), you can navigate to this drive, and copy or delete any video files on the camcorder to whatever location you want on your computer's hard disk.
As far as I know, you shouldn't need any drivers for this.
Simply connect it to your USB port, and give it minute or so until Windows recognizes it, and, if necessary, until it installs USB drivers for it. Just keep an eye at the system tray (bottom right of the screen)

My laptop suddenly got no sound of whatever..what sound app is needed for a e machines by ACER LAPTOP WITH WINDOWS XP OS

Click this link and select your model to download the audio driver. It's worth to install the chipset drivers before installing the audio driver as I do not see why the sound disappeared suddenly. If this hasn't help there could have be a connection has come off between the computer and the speaker.

Good luck!

Glad to help YOU!

I think all you need is a SOFTWARE called DriverWhiz.
It can be found HERE.
Click on RUN (or SAVE AS - if you use Firefox) and let it be installed on you machine. By using this DriverWhiz you will be able to:
# find missing drivers for any JVC device
# update the existing drivers
# backup your existing JVC drivers

GOOD LUCK!

Second monitor is connected but screen remains

Hi, Ronald.

If you look at the function keys (F1 through F12) on the top row of your keyboard, you should see a CRT/LCD label or symbol, typically on F4 or F8 (may be different for your laptop).

Press the Fn key (typically on the left bottom of your keyboard) with that function key and you would toggle through accessing your laptop display, your external monitor display and both displays (may not be in that order).

Hope this helps.

S-video port

Fist of all I like to inform in computer S-Video output of the camera usually does not fit to computer. Only if the computer has S-Video Input card it will be possible. However logic is simple. Digital Camera or Camcorders uses 1394 or USB connection to connect to the computer. You havent indicate what model of JVC you use, almost all JVC Digital Cameras come with USB connection option. All you need to put USB cable in between. If it asks driver, use the CD comes with the Camera or download from JVC's support website.

Good Luck
