Re: Error code 09,038,46:94028
That means one of your ink sticks is not advancing in the ink loader. I think 46 means its the black ink stick. But, look in where your ink is loaded. One or maybe more than one stick is stuck and not advancing down in the ink loader. Look for a broken ink, one that is twisted or otherwise just stuck.
If you have to remove them, take a screw, like a drywall screw, twist it into the ink block and slide it up and out.
I am almost positive the ,46 means specifically the black sticks. But I dont have my documentation with me to verify if it's the black or color stick. Either way, it's an easy fix.

The error light that is blinking is actually blinking out a error code. In the back of your manual under troubleshooting there should be a list.
On a printer this new about the only error you should see is a paper jam. IF anything else is wrong I'd just put it in the box and take it back. Rarely do you see something fail this new these days. It happens but not that much.
Once you look up the error code you will know what the problem is. It could be a cable unplugged or a paper jam etc. I can;t see it being serious.
U052 is a temperature sensor in the works below the cartridges. Canon can ship you the part; it's not the inks cart, but then it's not for me to say 5 minutes with the power off or 20 with either a solvent cartridge (especially on any colors with stripe dropouts) or cleaning the works and reseating flex cables won't fix it. (Take it to a Canon shop per any surviving repair warrants; it's serious enough.)
Your printer is telling you it has an operating error, many printers give flashing lights as error codes to tell you what is wrong. If you visit the cannon website for your area, they will be able to tell you exact error code. If you do not want to do this, give me some time and i will be happy to help by finding the error for you. To help me, post back with what your printer is or is not doing correctly to get the error in the firts place. lilacgerry
You printer is giving you an error code with its flashing coloyr lights. I would consult canons website and write down the exact colours it is flashing as this is a specific error code. Most likely it is a paper jam error or reading error. Before you contact them i would try resetting the printer by powering down, unplugging all cables and cord, replugging and turning on and retry print jobs. If no luck go to plan B, webesite, and find error code. I am sorry i have no deatils for this printer to give you the error code myself.
