Poor ground shield, or poor solder joint in mic cable.

My connex 3300hp radio randomly transmits and gets stuck without pressing mic button. It in sticks if you press mic button.

Have you tried keying it without the coax attached ? Take the mic apart and give it a squirt of electrical parts cleaner .Try using a different mic also.

I recently bought a Connex CX366CE. I plan to install a SLMM-1 SUPER MOD AND SWING POWER MODULATION kit. I plan to hook it to a Viper 25,000 watt antenna. Is this going to work? Do I need an antenna tuner...

you should be fine, check your swr's before and after.a swing kit only throws the carrier and adds more modulation. the connex is a good radio to start with, you should be fine, with the mod kit and radio you will never reach 25k on that antenna with this setup. just make sure the antenna is tuned rite for optimum operation(low swr).

Got a connex 3300HP has a ranger board and chipset won't modulate recieves fine keys up relay clicks needle doesn't move no voice either cant find schematics

You may have a dead meter.
Modulation is audio's affect on swing wattage or pep. Notice that needle moving more with your voice.
Dead key or carrier wattage is without your voice enhancing the power only with mic keyed.
I can only assume that the chipset you are referring to is an ic chip audio or pll which must be working if you are receiving audio.
Check your mic cord................ transmit and modulation and even your receive volume can be affected by the cord/mic plug solder joints or broken wires here.

Have a new connex 3300hp i can hear everybody else but nobody can hear me when i key up and talk the needle dont even move

look up the tune specs VR13 (L PWR) L32 L33 high power maybe your watts are turned down if it is brand new send it back to the place you bought it from.If the watts are turned all the way down you won't get any carrier your needle is not moving when tranmitting there is no rf power check to see if your tx light is on when depressing the mic button. you should have a rf adjustment turn it clockwise to turn the power up on the front of your radio.or the mods i gave you in the radio.

Have a connex 3300hp and i dont know where the dials should be can you help?

If you're wanting to talk on your basic 40 channel then a/d and on high band. Always keep your mic gain and rf gain to the right echo I like both around 10 o'clock. nbl at the top.talk back is up to you if you want to hear yourself and run it on high power unless you're running a power box then switch to low power.

How do u make the talkbalk louder on a connex 3300hp

There are problems with having a loud talk back. You can get feed back and an annoying squeal when you transmit. That is why the talk back isn't that loud to begin with.

The reason you use talk back is to check your echo, and make sure your mic gain is not too high. It shouldn't need to be that loud to check it.

I highly recommend you leave it at the level that it is.
